Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Increase our customer base by selling lab-grown diamonds to wholesale and retail clients
  • Plan, organize, direct to achieve the short and long term business growth and retention objectives
  • Cultivate new business opportunities through the engagement of current and prospective customers
  • The support sales team in Toronto with direct sales efforts to retail jewelry stores.
  • Make cold and warm calls to uncover opportunities in new markets.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, and preparing quotations.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships and retention.
  • Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or services
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer new customer attraction
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Track sales and status reports and generate ideas to incorporate new clients


Job Requirements

  • Business Development experience will be considered
  • Strong B2B experience with a proven track record.
  • Familiar with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Current knowledge of industry trends that is required to perform at best in the role
  • An effective, metric-driven salesperson with a proven track record of success
  • Possess great communication, presentation, and negotiation skills tailored to the audience need
  • Must have a record of success in cold calling, qualifying leads, positioning value-added services, and closing business.
