Job Description
Tryo India- Food Division: Vedik Foods- Maduravoyal, Chennai
Job Overview:
As a Sales/Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and managing sales strategies, onboarding retailers and distributors, promoting products across offline and online platforms, and building long-term customer relationships. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for natural/healthy food products and a flair for sales and brand promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Distribution:

Identify and approach new retail outlets, organic food stores, modern trade chains, wellness centers, and supermarkets to list Vedik Foods products.

Appoint and manage distributors or channel partners where necessary.

Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent fieldwork.

Handle order bookings, coordinate deliveries, and ensure timely payments.
2. Marketing & Promotion:
-
Plan and execute promotional campaigns (in-store promotions, product sampling, local events).

Participate in exhibitions, farmer's markets, food festivals, and health expos.

Coordinate with the design team to create product brochures, displays, and marketing materials.

Leverage digital marketing inputs to support product visibility across social media and e-commerce platforms.
3. Product Knowledge & Training:

Learn and communicate the unique selling points (USPs) of Vedik Foods’ products: ingredients, health benefits, preparation methods, etc.

Educate retail staff and distributor teams about the product line through training sessions.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
-
Maintain long-term relationships with store owners, buyers, and key decision-makers.

Address product inquiries, customer feedback, or complaints promptly and professionally.

Gather insights from the market about customer preferences and competitor activity.
5. Reporting & Coordination:

Maintain daily/weekly sales reports, customer visit logs, and promotional activity summaries.

Update the sales pipeline and CRM tools as per company guidelines.

Coordinate with the logistics and accounts teams to ensure smooth product dispatch and invoicing.
Skills:

Strong selling and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication (English + local language).

Good understanding of FMCG/retail operations.

Basic knowledge of digital platforms and marketing tools (email campaigns, WhatsApp marketing, social media posts).

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
