About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Engage in superior customer service by making information readily available
2. Persist in sales even in the face of failure
3. Demonstrate products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management
4. Schedule appointments and meetings as necessary
5. Answer questions from clients
6. Make product knowledge readily available to self and other salespeople through various resources
7. Find ways to sell products in the face of a down market
8. Research client base to find new types of customers and sells to them accordingly
9. Create a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on warranties or guarantees
10. Analyze and create a plan for engaging the target market
11. Analyze the competition to create a plan for engagement
12. Make the product appealing to the target market
13. Train other salespeople in the art of selling
14. Set up booths at trade shows and demonstrates the quality or uses of a product
15. Demonstrate superior time management skills and meets sales deadlines
