Key Responsibilities
Sales and Revenue Generation

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for cattle feed in the assigned territory.

Develop new markets and expand customer base by identifying potential dealers, retailers, and end-users (farmers, dairy cooperatives, etc.).

Generate leads through direct field visits, agricultural events, demonstrations, and word-of-mouth.

Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and on-field promotional activities.
Dealer and Distributor Management

Appoint and manage dealers, distributors, and retailers for cattle feed products.

Ensure regular supply, inventory planning, and stock movement through distribution channels.

Monitor dealer performance and resolve issues related to order fulfillment, pricing, or complaints.

Train and support dealers on product knowledge, benefits, and selling techniques.
Farmer and Customer Engagement

Conduct farmer meetings, village-level programs, and cattle camps to educate customers on the benefits of quality cattle feed.

Provide nutritional advice and technical support to farmers based on the type of livestock and farming practices.

Build strong relationships with dairy farmers, veterinary professionals, and local community influencers.

Collect and respond to feedback from farmers and ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis

Keep up-to-date with cattle feed trends, pricing, and competitor activities in the assigned region.

Identify gaps in the market and suggest new product opportunities or promotional strategies.

Submit market intelligence reports and insights to the management team regularly.
Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of sales, collections, customer interactions, and follow-ups.

Submit daily/weekly reports on sales performance, farmer visits, and market coverage.

Coordinate with the accounts team for payment collections and dealer outstanding reports.

Use CRM systems or reporting tools if provided by the company.
