Job Description

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Prospect for potential new clients & generate new leads. Cold call as appropriate within your market area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization. Leverage on Networking. 
Validate & verify the clients
Set up appointments: 
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s CEO. Plan appropriate sales pitch. Work with Business heads & develop proposals that addresses to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Track and record activity on accounts, negotiate and help to close deals.
Client on-boarding: 
  • Actively participate in customer on-boarding, pricing catalogues, creating customer master & setting of payment & delivery terms.  
  • Responsible for training new clients on how to use the system 
  • Client Retention: Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships, Work with Key accounts and other internal colleagues to ensure client satisfaction. 
Business Development Planning: 
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, gaining required membership and provide feedback and information on market and trends.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met. 
Documentation: 
  • Prepare Sales contracts ensuring terms & conditions are clearly written in adherence to the law .
Customer Retention:
  • Develop and create customer retention tactics & strategies.

Desired profile: 

  • Over 1 year of leadership experience in Client acquisition.
  • Possess skills on Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Research, Closing deals, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges.  
  • Excitement for working in a start-up environment with high level of ambiguity and change
  • An articulate Communicator with excellent written communication 
  • Ability to develop  strong rapport with clients
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Metrics driven mindset & Customer service obsession, with willingness to do whatever it takes to satisfy customer needs
  • Proficient with MS Excel , MS Office & working on ERP.
