Department: Retail Liabilities / Corporate Salary Business
Reports to: Area Sales Manager
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Sales Officer to drive acquisition of corporate salary accounts and cross-sell banking products. The role involves building relationships with companies/HR teams, ensuring smooth onboarding of their employees, and delivering a superior banking experience.
Key Responsibilities-
Corporate Engagement: Identify, approach, and engage with companies to tie up for opening employee salary accounts with our Bank.

Business Development: Generate new business opportunities by pitching bank’s salary account proposition and associated benefits to HR/Admin/Finance decision-makers.

Employee Acquisition: Conduct salary account opening drives at corporate premises, explain features & benefits, and ensure 100% documentation compliance.

Cross-Selling: Promote and sell banking products such as savings accounts, credit cards, personal loans, mutual funds, insurance, and digital banking solutions to mapped employees.

Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with corporate HR/Admin teams to ensure continued engagement and new employee onboarding.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure KYC compliance, accurate documentation, and adherence to RBI & bank guidelines during account opening.

Target Achievement: Meet monthly acquisition targets for salary accounts and cross-sell products.

Customer Experience: Provide seamless service support to newly onboarded employees, ensuring a positive and long-term banking relationship.

Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

Ability to influence and build relationships with corporate decision-makers.

Customer service orientation with a solution-driven approach.

Self-motivated with strong sales acumen and result orientation.

Knowledge of banking products, KYC norms, and compliance (preferred).

Graduate / Postgraduate (Any discipline).

0–3 years of experience in sales/field work (freshers with strong communication skills may apply).

Prior experience in Banking / BFSI / Corporate Sales will be an added advantage.

Willingness to travel and conduct field visits.
