Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation

Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, online research, and industry events.

Generate, qualify, and follow up on leads through various channels (email, phone, trade shows, referrals).

Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers across assigned territory or industry segment.
2. Customer Engagement
-
Visit clients on-site or conduct virtual meetings to understand their technical needs and project requirements.

Present product features, specifications, and benefits clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical customers.

Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
3. Product & Solution Selling
-
Recommend suitable products or services based on customer applications or use-cases.

Prepare customized proposals and quotations using knowledge of product pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.

Demonstrate product performance, conduct trials or sample testing if required.
4. Sales Target Achievement
-
Meet or exceed assigned monthly/quarterly sales targets in terms of revenue, orders, and new accounts.

Plan and execute sales strategies in alignment with company goals.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to close deals effectively.
5. Coordination & Follow-up
-
Coordinate with the internal operations, logistics, and technical support teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.

Follow up on quotations, payments, delivery status, and after-sales service as needed.

Resolve client queries or issues promptly to maintain customer trust.
6. Reporting & Documentation
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, inquiries, quotations, and customer interactions using CRM tools or Excel.

Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback reports for management review.

Keep up with competitor activity and market trends.
