Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Territory Sales & Market Coverage
-
Visit retail outlets, supermarkets, and general stores to promote and sell company products.

Ensure product availability, visibility, and shelf placement in all assigned outlets.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and stockists.
-
Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activity and gather insights.
-
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as assigned by the management.
2. Distributor and Channel Partner Management
-
Coordinate with the existing network of distributors and dealers to ensure timely stock replenishment.

Monitor distributor performance, resolve issues related to delivery, payment, and service levels.
-
Assist in appointing new channel partners where needed to expand coverage.

Ensure timely collection of payments and reconciliation of accounts with distributors and retailers.
3. Order Booking and Fulfillment
-
Take orders from retail stores and submit them for processing and delivery.
-
Track pending orders, delivery timelines, and stock availability.
-
Ensure that products are delivered as per schedule and customer expectations.
-
Maintain accurate daily call reports and order summaries.
4. Merchandising and In-Store Branding
-
Execute promotional displays, signages, and product placements at retail locations.
-
Ensure compliance with planograms and promotional offers during campaigns.
-
Monitor and report damage, expired goods, and slow-moving items to the team lead.
5. Market Intelligence & Feedback Collection
-
Monitor pricing, product feedback, and competitor activities on a regular basis.
-
Provide insights on consumer behavior, product preferences, and emerging trends.

Report any gaps in distribution or coverage to the area sales manager.

Suggest ideas for local promotions, new products, or process improvements.
6. Sales Reporting & Documentation
-
Maintain and submit daily sales reports and visit logs.
-
Record customer feedback, issues, and complaints in an organized manner.

Support the team in periodic sales reviews, audits, and performance evaluations.

Use mobile sales apps or CRM software (if applicable) to update field data.
