Job Description
Job Summary:
The Sales Process Executive plays a critical role in driving the sales and growth of banking products such as Personal Loans (PL), Credit Cards (CC), and Current and Savings Accounts (CaSa). This role involves managing the end-to-end sales process, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the achievement of sales targets. The executive acts as a bridge between customers and the bank’s operations team, ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Customer Acquisition:

Proactively engage with prospective customers through various channels including branch walk-ins, tele-calling, referrals, and digital leads.

Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate financial products – Personal Loans, Credit Cards, or Current/Savings Accounts – tailored to their requirements.

Explain product features, benefits, eligibility criteria, fees, interest rates, and other relevant information clearly to potential customers.

Drive customer acquisition by effectively pitching products and addressing objections or concerns.

Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads through promotional campaigns, events, and digital initiatives.
2. Application Processing and Documentation:

Collect and verify customer documentation as per bank guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Assist customers in filling out application forms, guiding them on required disclosures and declarations.

Perform thorough checks on KYC (Know Your Customer) documents, credit reports, income proofs, and other necessary paperwork.

Coordinate with back-office teams to facilitate timely processing and approval of loan or card applications.

Track application status and keep customers informed throughout the process.
3. Compliance and Risk Management:

Adhere strictly to internal control procedures, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.

Ensure all sales and documentation processes comply with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) norms and bank policies.

Maintain confidentiality of customer data and prevent any misuse of information.

Report any suspicious activities or discrepancies to the concerned authority promptly.
4. Customer Service and Relationship Management:

Provide post-sale support by addressing customer queries, clarifying doubts, and resolving issues related to loan disbursement, card activation, and account opening.

Facilitate follow-ups with customers for document submission, loan disbursal, or card delivery.

Maintain a database of customers for future cross-selling opportunities.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
5. Reporting and Coordination:

Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities, applications processed, and conversions.

Prepare reports on sales performance, pending applications, and customer feedback for management review.

Coordinate with credit teams, risk assessment, and operations for smooth loan sanctioning and account activation.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product changes, compliance updates, and sales techniques.
