Role - Sales Representative
Industry - Pharmaceutical
Functional Area - Sales & Retail
Locations - Delhi-NCR ( Manesar, Gurugram, Gr. Noida, Noida, South Delhi, West Delhi, North Delhi, North West Delhi)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for candidates for Pharmaceutical/FMCG sales in the General Trade segment, handling stockists/distributors and generating sales revenue.
Prefer candidates with current experience in managing sales of Pharmaceutical OTC products in both Rural and Urban markets.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
You will contribute to your role by generating demand at the point of buying and delivering on Key Performance Areas like Volume Achievement and Process Adherence.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Meeting Sales Targets
· Achieve volume & value sales of products across Categories, Geographies & Retail Environments.
Ensuring Distribution & Visibility
· Ensure steady and timely distribution across retail outlets & stockiest.
· Increase penetration by creating new retail outlets & appointing new stockists.
· Ensure coverage analysis and reach targeted stockists & retailers as per goals.
· Ensure proper visibility of products across retail outlets & stockists.
· Ensure constant stock flow monitoring at all retail points.
· Strong focus on self-prescribing(consuming) doctors, self-pushing chemists and nursing homes.
Maintaining Commercial Hygiene
Coordinate commercial activities, ensure timely collections & timely claim submission.
Depot & Stock Handling
· Manage inventories, stock levels & Inventory Health Index as per company norms.
· Coordinate with SO & marketing department to ensure timely information to and from the Stockiest and take appropriate action (as per company norms) in the event of damaged/expired stock.
Others
· Provide market intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and share awareness of the competitor's strengths and weaknesses.
· Participate in promotional activities and product launches.
· Maintain and leverage strong relationships with Retailers & Stockists.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE (Skills and Qualifications):
· Graduate with minimum 0-3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical/FMCG Sales in Traditional Trade / Rural Markets.
· Fresher’s are welcome to apply (will be hired as Trainee Sales Representatives for a 3 month probation period).
· Excellent communication skills.
· Good Interpersonal/Relationship Building skills.
· Technologically aware, should be able to work in an app based environment.
· Preference to candidates with good computer skills (MS-Excel).
· Understanding of rural Pharmaceutical and FMCG markets.
· Creative skills to lead effective promotional activities.
