Sales Representative
Duties:
Manage primary & secondary sales
Track competitor activity
Execute product schemes
Provide weekly stock updates
Handle damage stock
Maintain monthly reports
Ensure area-wise retail coverage
Support distributor performance
Exp: Min 6month in FMCG
Sal: 20k to 30k (Based on Exp)
Location: Villivakkam

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development

Identify potential clients and business opportunities within the assigned region.

Meet and exceed sales targets for food product lines on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Develop and execute territory sales plans to ensure market coverage and product availability.

Regularly visit existing and prospective customers including retail stores, supermarkets, wholesalers, and distributors.

Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
2. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.

Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.

Act as the main point of contact for customers, handling negotiations, orders, and follow-ups.
3. Market Analysis and Strategy

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new sales opportunities.

Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer input and market observations.

Analyze sales data and prepare reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and forecast future sales trends.
4. Product Knowledge and Promotion

Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry developments, and competitive offerings.

Promote the company’s food product portfolio through product demonstrations, presentations, and sampling where applicable.

Train retail staff or store owners on product benefits and handling procedures.
5. Logistics and Distribution Coordination

Coordinate with the supply chain, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

Monitor stock levels at customer locations and ensure timely replenishment.

Handle returns, damaged goods, and delivery discrepancies as needed.
