Job Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, and customer-focused Sales Staff to join our growing team. As a member of the sales team, your primary role is to assist customers, promote products or services, and support the achievement of sales targets. You will act as the face of the company, providing a positive shopping experience and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge. The ideal candidate is personable, persuasive, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction and Assistance:
Greet customers promptly, professionally, and courteously.
Assist customers in locating products and understanding their features, benefits, and pricing.
Provide personalized product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
Answer product-related queries and provide detailed information on promotions, offers, and warranty policies.
Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
2. Sales and Target Achievement:
Work toward achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the management.
Convert inquiries into actual sales by actively engaging with customers and upselling or cross-selling when appropriate.
Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions, company policies, and product inventory.
Follow up with potential customers and leads generated through walk-ins, calls, or online inquiries.
Record sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and ensure correct billing.
3. Product Knowledge and Demonstration:
Stay informed about all products and services offered by the company.
Provide live demonstrations or trials of products when required.
Stay updated with new product launches, price changes, and competitor offerings.
Attend regular training sessions on new products, features, or selling techniques.
4. Inventory and Merchandising:
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock on the shop floor or in storage.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or popular items to the inventory team.
Ensure all products are properly labeled with pricing, barcodes, and specifications.
Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure the store is clean, attractive, and organized.
5. Customer Feedback and Service:
Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
Record customer feedback and suggestions to improve product offerings and service.
Ensure after-sales service support such as returns, exchanges, or installation assistance is provided smoothly.
Encourage customer loyalty by enrolling them in loyalty programs or offering future promotions.
6. Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain records of daily sales, customer interactions, and inventory changes.
Prepare sales reports for supervisors or management as required.
Participate in daily team briefings to discuss sales performance, targets, and updates.
