Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Team Management:

Supervise and manage a team of 5–10 sales executives or relationship managers.

Assign monthly targets, track daily performance, and ensure achievement of insurance sales goals (life, health, general insurance).

Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and field visits to drive productivity and motivation.
2. Bancassurance Sales Strategy:
-
Work in close collaboration with the bank branch staff and managers to generate leads and cross-sell insurance products to the existing customer base.

Implement strategic initiatives to increase penetration of insurance policies within the assigned bank branches.

Ensure seamless integration between bank relationship teams and the insurance sales team.
3. Training and Development:
-
Identify training needs of the team and conduct periodic product, process, and soft-skills training.

Support team members in customer meetings, helping close high-value deals.

Encourage a consultative sales approach to build long-term relationships.
4. Customer Relationship Management:
-
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering professional service and personalized solutions.

Handle escalated customer queries or complaints and ensure timely resolution.

Maintain post-sales relationships to support renewal and up-sell opportunities.
5. Reporting and Compliance:

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports for management.

Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards (IRDAI guidelines, documentation, KYC norms, etc.).

Maintain accurate sales and customer records in CRM or internal systems.
