Sales Trainee
Job Description
Centre of Excellence Programme:
Purpose
- To train participants from the beginning with a member centric –“service to sell” approach, which should prepare them with better member/ client engagement during & post the sales, thereby enabling them to perform better
Terms of Employment
- Participants will be hired as “(On the Job) Sales Trainees” for a period of 3 months from the date of joining
- Post three months training period, the participants will be confirmed at G4 as Sales Executives / Holiday World Consultants, subject to clearing the final “certification”
- Participants not clearing the certification will get a further extension of 30 days, with specific handholding & will have to undergo a re-certification
- Participants not clearing the re-certification will not be absorbed in the organization
- Participants will not be entitled to any incentive till the period they are under traineeship and have cleared their certification.
Preferred Participant Profile
- Minimum qualification – graduate in any discipline
- Good communication skills
- Minimum / no prior experience of sales
- Open to within & out-of-city travel
- Open to relocate anywhere in India
Training
CoE training plan will be divided in 2 phases –
- Phase – 1 = Focused on developing a strong service orientation & member engagement skills which should enable the participants to connect with members & generate references
- Phase – 2 = Focused on developing selling skills which should enable the participants to deliver higher conversion, keeping in mind the quality parameters
Each phase comprises of classroom & On-the-Job training interventions in line with the overall skill-building objective of the phase
Post CoE Completion Job Description of Sales Executive:
- Achieving stretched targets in a result-focused environment.
- Making powerful sales presentations resulting in high conversion ratio.
- Resolving member/ customer conflicts wherever applicable.
- Maintaining strong client relationship and high level of customer service.
- Preparing pre-sales proposals for prospective clients.
- Identifying potential customers and new business opportunities within and outside the venue.
- Keeping abreast with the organization's products and services.
- Maintaining Consistent Average Productivity
Work Location: Chennai – Mount Road
Salary Range: 2.40 lacs p.a
Educational Qualifications: Bachelors/ Masters/ any other relevant qualification
Previous Work Experience: 0 to 6 Months’ experience.
