Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Sales Travel Consultant to manage travel bookings, provide expert advice, and deliver excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling reservations, negotiating with vendors, assisting clients with travel-related queries, and managing emergency changes. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Travel Booking & Coordination

Manage and process flight, hotel, and transportation bookings for clients.

Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and travel service providers to ensure accurate reservations.

Provide personalized travel solutions based on client preferences and budget.
2. Vendor Negotiation & Relationship Management

Negotiate rates, discounts, and packages with travel vendors and service providers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, and tour operators.

Ensure vendor agreements and contracts are adhered to for smooth service delivery.
3. Customer Support & Advisory

Provide travel advice, visa guidance, and itinerary planning to clients.

Assist clients with travel-related documentation and procedures.

Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests efficiently.
4. Emergency Handling & Problem Solving

Manage last-minute changes, cancellations, and emergency travel requests.

Offer quick and effective solutions to minimize client inconvenience.

Keep clients informed of travel updates, delays, or policy changes.
5. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain records of bookings, payments, and vendor communications.

Prepare and submit reports on sales, client interactions, and travel trends.

Ensure compliance with company policies and travel industry regulations.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills

Proficiency in travel booking systems, GDS (Global Distribution Systems), and CRM tools.

Knowledge of flight schedules, hotel operations, and visa requirements.

Basic computer skills, including MS Office and internet navigation.
Soft Skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
