·         Understand business objectives and provide solutions that efficiently meet the objectives in a timely manner with a focus on data integrity and quality.

·         Ensure that all the products and data within the platform are architected and integrated as a cohesive unit, ensure proper documentation, source control and change management are adhered to.

·         Build and maintain metadata repositories, data dictionaries, data lineage tracking and data quality score cards.

·         Participate in defining and constructing the overall data architecture for enterprise wide data governance.

·         Work with numerous teams within the organization to architect a data centric approach to Business Processes and Data Governance.

·         Participate in supporting system administrators to ensure that the data governance Platform is operating efficiently. Improve platform performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and query optimization.

·         Ability and experience designing data solutions with data flexibility, ease of data reuse, data integrity, data security, and data quality built in.

·         Provide technical leadership to other members of the development team and project managers.

·         Participate in product evaluations, RFP’s, POC’s and business decisions to ensure fit

and scale into the platform and the organization.

·         Lead efforts for data modelling – provide and support technology that allows data

analysts to meet the organization’s reporting needs

  Essential Skills                                                                                                                        

·         Strong solution architecture and data modelling skills

·         Experience producing and rapidly delivering POCs

·         Experience of cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services (AWS) with services and products like EC2, S3, ECS, Docker or Azure or Google Cloud

·         Unix environment and Bash scripting

·         Understanding of security best practices for Cloud

·         Experience with SQL (Postgres), NoSQL and/or Big Data (Big Query)

·         Strong Data Architecture experience

·         Translate business requirements into target state conceptual models.

·         Perform data analysis and data profiling on source data and document metadata for target data models.

·         Knowledge of Data Warehousing / Data Lake / Business Intelligence strategies and architecture

·         Strong Data Governance experience
