Salesman Helper
Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Salesman Helper to join our men’s ethnic wear retail shop. The candidate should be energetic, responsible, and willing to assist in multiple activities of the store. Preference will be given to Marathi-speaking candidates who can easily communicate with local customers and staff.
This role requires an all-rounder who can support the sales team, assist customers, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the shop.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Assistance

Greet customers politely and assist them in selecting ethnic wear.

Help salesmen by showing products, sizes, and styles as per customer needs.

Provide suggestions to customers and ensure they have a comfortable shopping experience.

Store Support

Arrange, fold, and display products neatly in the showroom.

Keep the shop floor clean, organized, and customer-friendly.

Assist in stock handling, unpacking new arrivals, and keeping shelves updated.

Sales Support

Help in billing and packaging when required.

Carry products to trial rooms, counters, or delivery areas.

Support salesmen in handling rush hours and festive seasons.

General Duties

Take care of daily shop maintenance and cleanliness.

Handle small errands inside/outside the shop if needed.

Cooperate with team members for smooth retail operations.

Skills & Qualities Required

Ability to communicate in Marathi (Hindi/English is an added advantage).

Hardworking, honest, and responsible attitude.

Polite, friendly, and customer-focused personality.

Willingness to work long retail hours (10:00 AM – 9:00 PM).

Ability to work in a team and support senior sales staff.

Physically fit to handle shop duties like lifting, arranging, and assisting customers.
Eligibility

Education: Minimum 10th pass (not mandatory if experienced).

Experience: Prior experience in retail shops preferred, but freshers are welcome.

Age: 18–35 years.

Language: Marathi-speaking preferred.
Work Schedule

Timings: 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Weekly Off: 1 day off per week.

Location: Men’s ethnic wear retail shop (local candidates preferred).
