Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated, customer-oriented Salesman to join our sales team. As a Salesman, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products or services directly to customers. You will engage with prospects, present our offerings, negotiate terms, close sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.
This role involves fieldwork or store-based sales depending on the company’s operations and requires excellent communication skills, persuasion ability, and a customer-first attitude. The Salesman will act as the company’s frontline representative, driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Generation:

Identify potential customers and approach them proactively.

Present and demonstrate products or services clearly, highlighting key benefits.

Understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals successfully.

Follow up with prospective customers to convert leads into sales.
2. Customer Service:

Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.

Provide after-sales support and assistance when necessary.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.
3. Market and Product Knowledge:

Maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s products or services.

Stay updated on competitor products, market trends, and customer preferences.

Attend training sessions and product briefings to enhance sales effectiveness.
4. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and transactions.

Prepare sales reports and submit them to the sales manager regularly.

Use CRM or other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups.
5. Territory Management:

Manage assigned sales territories efficiently, planning visits and optimizing routes.

Ensure maximum coverage and penetration of the target market.

Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.
6. Collaboration and Teamwork:

Coordinate with other team members, marketing, and logistics departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer service.

Participate in sales meetings, training, and company events.

Share market feedback and customer insights with the management for product improvement.
