Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of ABAP developers and provide technical guidance and support for SAP ABAP
development projects, with a focus on S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand business
requirements and translate them into technical specifications for S/4HANA solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using SAP ABAP programming language,
ensuring compatibility with the S/4HANA platform.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices,
specifically in the context of S/4HANA development.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing ABAP programs within the S/4HANA environment
and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP ABAP solutions, with a focus on
S/4HANA-specific configurations and enhancements.
• Participate in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities
for S/4HANA projects.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends, particularly those related to
S/4HANA, and recommend innovative solutions to improve system efficiency and
performance.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and development
within the team, with an emphasis on S/4HANA best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of
S/4HANA projects within the defined scope, budget, and timeline.
• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements,
and forms (RICEF objects) in accordance with functional specifications and technical
guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori technologies, tools, and best practices,
and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming, with OO ABAP experience.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming concepts, including ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Objects,
and BAPI/RFC integration.
• Experience in building ABAP Applications with Eclipse IDE
• Familiarity with SAP development tools and technologies, including SAP NetWeaver and SAP
ECC.
• Hands-on experience developing OData projects for FIORI applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and
non-technical stakeholders.
