Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
SAS Programming: Develop and maintain SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, as well as for generating reports and performing statistical analyses.
Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement data pipelines and automation frameworks that support enterprise reporting and analytics within platforms like the Insurance Analytics Platform.
SQL Development: Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to manage and manipulate data from databases, including potential experience with Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain thorough documentation for code, processes, and workflows to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
Agile Development: Participate in agile methodologies (like SAFe/Scrum) and utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence for task management and collaboration.
Quality Assurance: Promote engineering best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines.
