Job Description
About the internship
With the objective of supporting SDMC headquarters to make efficient decisions for funding and resource deployment, a baseline study of all schools is intended on key parameters like infrastructure and human resources, including for academic and non-academic purposes.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Attend one-day training by Peepul on the school diagnostic tool, data quality, and its operationalization plan
2. Accompany their respective assigned School Inspector/Champion Teacher for data collection
3. Ensure quality data collection in line with standard guidelines set by Peepul
4. Clean and update data into formats provided by Peepul
Peepul has developed a standard quality framework tool to undertake the baseline and envisages the operationalization of this tool across 581 schools. It is intended that the tool be deployed in collaboration with SDMC staff such as School Inspectors and Champion Teachers to ensure accountability of data collected. However, with a risk of diluting quality reporting, it is intended to have independent researchers -shadow- the SDMC staff to ensure superior data is collected, within timelines. In this way, every SDMC staff will be mapped to a -buddy- independent researcher to carry out data collection, cleaning, and entry for their respective schools.

Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 23rd Feb'21 and 30th Mar'21
3. are available for duration of 3 weeks
4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements
1. Must be interested students in their third year of education
2. Must have had experience in undertaking primary research
