Scientific Assistant/Clerk job recruitment in National Centre for Radio Astrophysics - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (NCRA-TIFR) 

1. Scientific Assistant-B (Computers) [1 post; ST+PWD (HH)*; HQ: Ooty]   

Minimum Qualification: (a) B.Sc (Computer Science) or Diploma in Computer Engineering with minimum 60% marks. (b) Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.

Minimum Experience: 0-2 years experience in a reputed organization.*The candidate must attach a copy of the certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format stating the nature and extent of disability.

Age: 43 years

2. Clerk(A) [1 Post; OBC; HQ:Ooty]   

Minimum Qualification: (a) Graduate with minimum 50% marks. (b) Knowledge of typing and use of personal computers and applications especially MS Office. (c) Candidates with better typing skills may be given preference.

Minimum Experience: 1 year experience as Clerk in administrative matters and correspondence in a large and reputed organisation.

Age: 31 years

3. Tradesman-B [Electronics) [1 Post, OBC; HQ: Ooty] 

Minimum Qualifications: (a) 10th or equivalent (b) ITI (Electronics) with minimum 60% marks.

Minimum Experience:  Either (i)  2 years or (ii)  NCTVT with 1 year experience in a reputed organization

Age: 31 years

4. Tradesman-B (Fitter] [1 Post, UR; HQ: Ooty] 

Minimum Qualifications: (a) 10th or equivalent (b) ITI (Fitter) with minimum 60% marks. Minimum Experience: Either (i) 2 years or (ii) NCTVT with 1 year in reputed workshop  or organization. Desirable:  Experience in fitment and installation of gear boxes and coupling alignments, Hydraulic equipment maintenance, etc.   Knowledge of sheet metal/pipe development and structural fabrication will be an added advantage.

Age: 28 years 

5. Tradesman-B (Computers/Electronics) [1 Post, UR; HQ: Ooty]  

Minimum Qualifications: (a) 10th or equivalent (b) ITI (Electronics) with minimum 60% marks. Minimum Experience: Either (i) 2 years or (ii) NCTVT with 1 year in a reputed organization. Nature of Job: Providing assistance in installation and maintenance of computer, network equipment, network wiring including identification and rectification of simple hardware faults. Desirable: Experience in computer and network system trouble shooting.
