Project Title  :  'Molecular epidemiological investigations based on NGS sequencing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates from Tripura, Meghalaya and tea garden of Assam, NE region'

Scientist B (Non-Medical-Life Science)

No. of Post  :  01

Qualifications : Candidates should possess 1st Class Master Degree in Life Science (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics) from a recognized University with 2 year's experience in relevant field. OR 2nd Class M.Sc. in relevant area + Ph.D. degree in Life Science (Biochemistry, Microbiology Biotechnology, Bioinformatics) from a recognized university.

Desired Qualification : At least 3 year Postdoc experience in relevant area. Research experience in genomics and Next Gen Sequencing along with animal tissue culture as evident by publications will be preferred.

Salary : @Rs.48,000/- p.m. + 30% HRA fixed

Age Limit : 40 years (Age relaxation as admissible by rules)

Research Associate

Qualifications :  PhD in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or allied subjects with at least two research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals in relevant area.

Desired Qualification : Experience in genomics and work experience in infectious diseases field. Prior experience in handling bacterial and tissue culture will be preferred.

Salary : @ Rs.36,000/- p.m. + 30% HRA

Age Limit : 35 years (Age relaxation as admissible by rules)
