Scientist C & B (Medicine/Community Medicine)  job recruitment in ICMR – National Institute of Occupational Health (ICMR-NIOH)

Scientist ‘C’ (Medicine/Community Medicine)

No. of Post  :  01 (UR)

Qualification :  Post Graduate Degree (MD/DNB) in Medicine/ Community Medicine with one year R&D/Teaching Experience or Post Graduate Diploma in Medicine/ Community Medicine with two years R&D/Teaching Experience after obtaining essential qualification. OR  MBBS Degree recognized by Medical Council of India with 4 years R&D/Teaching Experience in Medicine/Community Medicine after MBBS Degree.

Desirable :  Doctorate following obtaining MBBS Degree from recognised University Ø Additional Post Doctoral Research/Teaching Experience in Medicine/Community Medicine or in the field of Occupational Health Research areas in recognized Institute(s). Ø Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence Tools/Data Management

Pay :  Pay Level – 11 (7th CPC) + allowance as admissible under ICMR Rules.

Age Limit : Not exceeding 40 years.

Scientist ‘B’ (Medicine/Community Medicine)

No. of Posts  :  03 (02 – UR, 01 – SC)

Qualification :  MBBS Degree recognized by Medical Council of India with 2 years R&D/Teaching Experience in Medicine/Community Medicine/ other relevant department after MBBS Degree.

Desirable :  MD in Medicine/Community Medicine/other relevant Department Ø Additional Post Doctoral Research/Teaching Experience in Medicine/Community Medicine or in the field of Occupational Health Research areas in recognized Institute(s). Ø Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence Tools/Data Management

Pay :  Pay Level – 10 (7th CPC) + allowance as admissible under ICMR Rules.

Age Limit :  Not exceeding 35 years.

Application Fee :  Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) through NEFT in favour of “Director, National Institute of Occupational Health (State Bank of India, Civil Hospital Branch, Account No-10106975123, IFSC Code – SBIN 0003043, MICR Code: 380002011). Payment can also be made in form of IPO/DDin favour of “Director, National Institute of Occupational Health, payable at Ahmedabad. SC/ST, Physically Handicapped (PH) and women candidates are exempted from the application fee.

Method of Selection :   Selection for above posts will be through a Written Test and Personal Discussion/Interview.
