Essential : i. Educational/Academic Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics/Astrophysics/Atmospheric Science or equivalent degree with consistently good academic records with minimum 55% marks and Ph. D degree.

ii. Experience : One year Post-Doctoral research experience and good research contribution in the areas of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Atmospheric Science. Preference will be given to candidates who is having experience in Observations/Instrumentation.

Pay Band and Grade Pay/Pay Scale : PB-3 : Rs. 15,600-39,100 +GP Rs. 6600/-

Age limit for direct recruits : Not exceeding 35 years

Information Scientist/1(Lien Vacancy)UR

Educational and other Qualifications required for direct recruits :

Essential : i. Educational/Academic Qualifications: Master of Library & Information Science from a recognized University with 55% marks with consistently good academic records.

ii. Experience: In the field of Library & Information Science, preferably in a Library in a scientific/research organization, for 2 years with grade pay of Rs. 4800/- or 3 years with grade pay of Rs. 4600/-.

Pay Band and Grade Pay/Pay Scale : PB-3 : Rs. 15,600-39,100 +GP Rs. 5400/-

Educational and other Qualifications required for direct recruits : Diploma of 3 years duration in Electrical Engineering from a recognized board with 3 years’ experience in the relevant field.
