National AIDS Research Institute (NARI) invites application for the position Scientist C

Number of Post and Location:1 -ICMR-NARI Pune (Willing to Travel) Base loca- tion-lCMR NARI Pune. Willing to travel for I0- 12 days to districts of Maharashtra and Goa

Educational qualification:

a)Medica- Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience OR Post Graduate Diploma in Medical subjects after MBBS with two years' experience OR MBBS degree recognized by MCI with 4 years' experience in Medical subjects after MBBS Degree.

b)Non-Medical1st Class Master Degree in Public Health/Epidemiology/Health Sci- ences/Health Care Management from a recognized university with 4 years' experience OR 2nd Class Master Degree in Public Health/Epidemiology/Health Sciences/Health Care Man- agement with PhD degree in relevant subject from a recognized university with 4 years' ex- perience

Desirable Criteria:Knowledge of computer applications/data management. Experience of field-based health- related research, including field supervision and data collection

Job Responsibilities: Support Pl in project management Design and conduct community and clinic surveys Field visits for supervision to various Indian states Prepare technical reports on status of the program implementation Data analysis and manuscript.preparation Conduct meetings/work- shops/training programs Travel to various districts in Maharashtra and Goa for 10-12 days in a month Any other work assigned by the Director/Pl/Co-PI / Superior officer

Consolidated Salary: Medical Rs.72,325/- Non-Medical Rs.57,660/-

Age Limit: UR-40 Years OBC-43 Years SC/SST-45 Years
