Scientist - C  / JRF  job recruitment in Cochin University of Science and Technology

Scientist - C  

Qualifications :  Ph.D. in Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences/Space Physics

Experience :  Minimum 2 years of research experience after Ph.D., preferably in Government/ University/ Autonomous Research or Academic Institution, with proven ability in publishing research papers in peer reviewed scientific journals.

Desirable :  Research experience in Radar Meteorology/ Signal processing/ Atmospheric Dynamics/ Modelling/ Satellite Meteorology

Monthly Pay :  Based on Experience

Age Limit :  Not more than 40 Years as on 01.01.2020

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Qualifications : M.Sc./M.Tech Degree in Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology/ Physics/ Space Physics in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 7.0 on a 10 point scale or equivalent OR M.Tech in Atmospheric Science/Space Science with minimum 65% marks as average of all semesters in aggregate or CGPA/CPI grading of 7.0 on a 10 point scale or equivalent, with CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test, including NET-Lectureship. Non NET candidates can also apply and the fellowship will be provided as per MoES Rules.

Monthly Pay : Rs. 31,000 +16% HRA

Age Limit :  Not more than 30 years (age relaxation is applicable as per government rules) as on 01.01.2020 

Selection Procedure :  written test/interview
