The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the study titled “Establishment of Resource Centre/Hub for conducting Health Technology Assessment” implemented by this institute with DHR funding”.
Name of the Post Scientist C (Non-Medical) (Health Economist)
Number of Post :02 (Two)
Place of Posting: ICMR-NIRT, Chennai
Essential Qualification :1 st Class Master Degree in Economics/ Health Economics/ Econometrics/ Actuarial science/Public Health / Epidemiology/Public Administration/ Health care Management from are cognized institution/university/ with 4 years’ experience in the relevant field. (OR) 2 nd Class Master Degree in Economics/ Health Economics/ Econometrics/ Actuarial science/Public Health / Epidemiology/Public Administration/ Health care Management, from a recognized institution/university+ PhD with 4 years’ experience in the relevant field.
Experience in conducting of health economic studies or economic models. Experience in managing projects in Health sector in recognized institute Working Knowledge of Statistical Packages like SPSS, R and spread sheets such as MS Excel. Good Scientific writing and communication skills.
Candidates with proven scientific writing skills & good communication skills in English as evidenced by publications either as Primary or Corresponding Author in peer reviewed international journals will be preferred.
