National Institute of Epidemiology
on contract basis
Project :“Model District for Public Health Preparedness, Surveillance and Response: Multi-Strategic Integrated Approach in Tiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu, India”
Essential Qualification: Medical: Post Graduate Degree (MD/DNB) in Community Medicine, Preventive & Social Medicine, Public Health, Community Health after MBBS degree recognized by MCI, with one year of experience OR Post graduate diploma in Public health subjects/MPH/MAE after MBBS degree recognized by MCI, with two years of experience Non-Medical: 1 st Class MPH/M.Sc. in Epidemiology from a recognized university with 4 years of experience OR 2 nd Class MPH/M.Sc. in Epidemiology + PhD degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university with 4 years of experience.
Desirable Qualification and Experience a) MD, MPH, PhD in relevant subjects from a recognized university b) EIS Graduate c) Additional Post-Doctoral research/ teaching experience in above subjects in recognized institute(s) d) Knowledge of Computer Applications/Data Management .
Emoluments Medical: Rs. 64,000/- + HRA Per Month Non-Medical: Rs. 51,000/- + HRA Per Month
Age: 40 years

Selection Procedure: Written test/ Interview.
