Note:- (i) In case a particular institute does not have any criteria for First Class or equivalence, 60% marks will be taken as equivalent to first class for that institute. In such cases, where conversion formula is not available, CGPA/CPI of 6.75 (for a 10 point scale) will be taken as equivalent to 60% as per AICTE guidelines.

@ GATE: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (*) marked Subjects/Disciplines are those in which Persons with Disabilities (PwD) - Hearing Handicapped (HH) can apply. (#) vacancies marked for ADA.

Age : (i) Un Reserved (UR) DRDO - Not exceeding 28 years, ADA - Not exceeding 30 years

Pay Scale : Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (` 56,100/-) in specified disciplines and categories. Total emoluments at the time of joining will be approximately `80,000/- p.m. at the present metro city rate.

Fee : General and OBC (Male) candidates are required to pay a non-refundable nontransferable application fee of ` 100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) payable online only. There is no application fee for SC/ST /PwD and women candidates.

Training : All selected Scientists ‘B’ for DRDO may be required to initially undergo a full time Post Induction Training at DIAT Pune/ ITM Mussoorie.

Selection Criteria : i) The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear in the personal interview to be held at Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/ DRDO. Shortlisted candidates shall be able to download their interview call letter along with date/venue of personal interview and other relevant documents through the candidate login obtained after successful Registration ii) Candidates serving in Govt or in Govt owned organisations will be required to produce “NOC” from their respective Department/Employer at the time of interview failing which candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
