A. Scientist/Engineer ‘D’

1.Qualification :  At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering only from a recognized University Desirable: Master's Degree in Engineering / Technology in Mechanical Engineering (with specialization in Machine Design) / Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering.

Experience :  Experience required in Design of aircraft involving basic aerodynamics, inboards & mass property studies with a minimum of seven years experience in working with CATIA V5 R19 and above in the following CATIA workbenches : (a) Mechanical Design (part, assembly etc) (b) Shape (Generative shape design, free style surfacing, ICEM shape design Aeroexpert, free style optimizer (for generating numerical master geometry for aircraft). (c) Kinematics simulator in CATIA and design of kinematic mechanisms for Landing Gears, doors and control surfaces for aircraft. (d) Computation of geometrical properties of aircraft configuration and interpretation. Desirable: Experience in one or more of the following areas: (a) Working with PLM environment. (b) Familiarity with various Military standards and practices.

2.Qualification : At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering only from a recognized University Desirable: Master's Degree in Engineering / Technology in any of the above mentioned disciplines only from a recognized University.

Experience :  A Minimum of Seven years experience required in Aircraft Systems such as Hydraulic System, Landing Gear System, Secondary power System or Fuel System in the following areas : (a) Design and development in one or more of the above aircraft systems (b) Design, development, ground testing and flight testing in one or more of above mentioned aircraft systems and its associated components. (c) Co-ordination with certifying agency for Certification of the above mentioned aircraft Systems and its associated components. Desirable : Experience in one or more of the following areas : (a) Design and development of aircraft hydraulic system and its associated components. (b) 3D modelling (CATIA / equivalent), CFD (fluent/equivalent) and fluid system simulation software (Dymola/equivalent) (c) Systems Engineering in design & development of aircraft systems.

B.  Scientist/Engineer ‘C’

3.Qualification : At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Aerospace/ Engineering only from a recognized University Desirable: Master's Degree in Engineering / Technology in any of the above mentioned disciplines.

Experience : A Minimum of three years experience is required in one or more of the following areas : (a) Functioning of Mechanical systems of aircraft, inboards arrangements based on various stringent requirements like functional positioning, accessibility, maintainability, safety, space management, etc. (b) Estimation of mass properties for aircraft and its interpretation with respect to aircraft performance. (c) CATIA V5 R19 and above in the following CATIA workbenches. (i) Product Structure (ii) Mechanical Design (Part, Assembly, Sketcher, Drafting, etc) (iii) Kinematics simulator in CATIA, designing of mechanisms for movable parts like doors, control surfaces, understanding of structural interfaces for actuator support. Desirable: (a) Experience in working with PLM Environment. (b) Kinematic Design of Landing gear retraction mechanism. (c) Familiar with various Military standards and practices.

Qualification : At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology in Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering only from a recognized University. Desirable: Ph D in Engineering with specialization in Electronics & Telecommunication / Electrical Communication or Computer Science. OR Desirable: Master's Degree in Engineering / Technology in Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electrical Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering.

Experience :  A Minimum of three years experience required in one or more of the following areas : (a) Prediction of Radar Cross Section (RCS) through numerical simulation & analysis of multi-scale electromagnetic geometries on parallel computers and comparing with experimental data. (b) Electromagnetics and Numerical Techniques. (c) Fast broadband electromagnetic simulation using techniques based on theory like Method of Moments, Fast Multipole. (d) Method or FVTD CEM methods. (e) Design of Electrically Small Antennas, Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits and Systems. Desirable: Work experience in the area(s) related to Radar Absorbent Structures/Material/Paint Development.

Experience :  A minimum of three years experience required in one or more of the following areas: (a) Detail design of Airframe structures for both metallic and composite materials. (b) Design automation using parametric CAD design along with Usage of CAD tools like CATIA V5 & V6 or Pro–Engineer or Unigraphics for the creation of 3D structural layouts, 2D manufacturing drawings and its associated documents. (c) Design for Manufacturing and Assembly, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerencing), Tolerance Analysis, Design hand calculations, etc. Desirable: Experience in one or more of the following areas: (a) Experience in design with model based definition philosophy and other advanced design practices. (b) Work experience in aero-elasticity.

(c) protocols such as 1553B and RS422 (d) complete software development life cycle (SDLC). (e) tools like rationale suite, LDRA etc. (f) Software debugging and debugging tools.
