Scientist Fellow/Junior Project Fellow/Field Assistant Job Opportunity in G. B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development

Project: "Undertaking a study to define the extent and intensity of habitat degradation, to identify the drivers of degradation and prepare a study proposal for developing model mitigation plan in alpine and sub-alpine areas in SECURE Himalaya project landscape of Uttarakhand"

Scientist Fellow/01 Post

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. Degree in Environmental Science/ Geography/ Geology/RS&GIS/Forestry/Life Sciences (Botany/Zoology)

Desirable experience: Experience of working in the hilly region of the Himalaya. Preference will be given to the candidates having work experience in the field of RS&GIS.

Age Limit: 40 Years

Emoluments: Rs. 36000 p.m. +HRA


Junior Project Fellow/02 Post

Essential Qualification: First Class Masters degree in Geography/RS&GIS

Desirable experience: Experience of working in the hilly region of the Himalaya

Age Limit: 28 Years

Emoluments: Rs.16,000/-p.m. + HRA 


Junior Project Fellow/02 Post

Essential Qualification: First Class Masters degree in Botany/Forestry

Desirable experience: Experience of working in the hilly region of the Himalaya
