Agricultural University on contract basis
No. of Posts : 2 (BAC, Sabour — 01 (UR) and RRS, Agwanpur —
01 (BBC))
Qualification : (i) M.Sc. (Ag) with specialization in
Agro-metrology / Agronomy from a recognized University. (ii) Good academic
record with atleast 55% or an equivalent grade 'B' in the 7-point scale with
letter grades 0,A,B,C,D,E,&F at master's degree level, in the relevant
subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign
University. (iii) A relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50% of marks) at master's
degree level for SC/ST categories. (iv) Ph. D holders or NET qualified
candidates, if available, would be given preference. (v) The appointment is
purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. (vi) Engagement of the SMS
(Agromet) will be made on contractual basis on yearly cycle. However, further
extension in engagement period may be allowed depending upon the performance.
Emoluments : Rs. 50,000/- per month
