Tenure of Appointment: One year or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
Brief job description: Clinical and Radiological data acquisition, compilation and analysis. Data acquisition and image processing of patient-specific aneurysm models. Performing Computational fluid dynamics simulations in ANSYS/COMSOL Multiphysics/OPENFOAM. Code parallelization Processing and analysing the scientific data using suitable visualization tools/software.
Nature of appointment: Temporary (Purely on contract)
Qualification & Experience (Essential): PhD (Engineering Sciences/Computational Fluid dynamics, bio-tluids) using CFD solvers (OPENFOAM/Commercial solvers) and having 2 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after PhD. OR ME/M.Tech/MS by research (Mechanical/Biomedical/ Applied Mechanics/ Engineering
a. Design/Chemical/ Instrumentation/Electronics/Computer Science/Civil) and having 5 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after ME/MTech At least one research publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Mtech candidates have opportunity to register for PhD through project mode at IIT Madras, subject to Institute rules.
8. Qualification & Experience (Desirable): Experience in CFD, FSI in biological systems, fluid/blood flow simulations. Experience using ANSYS/COMSOL Multiphysics/Open FOAM and code parallelization. Experience in big data, machine-learning and artificial intelligence.
