Summary Of This Role

Leads application testing to apply continuous quality and testability of code throughout the software development lifecycle. Builds quality within the software development process with automated testing suites providing a comprehensive view from code quality to functionality. Uses quality paradigms to provide real time quality with use of automation and frequent regression testing. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks and automation test suites and scripts with continuous integration, testing, deployment and delivery. Conducts performance, load, security and service virtualization testing.

Lead the software quality assurance functions to enable the effective development and implementation of testing programs. Ensures all systems meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements through manual and automated testing programs. Plans and executes change control process for zero defect system development. Develops quality standards for company products and oversees the development and execution of test plans and analysis of test results.

Drives an open and scalable architecture and ensure that the best relevant technology solutions are being adopted. Champions for good engineering practices and support clean code and maintainability. Plays a key role in fostering innovation and ensuring adoption of new technologies as needed.

What Part Will You Play?

• Required experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
  
• 12-16 years of software development experience, at least five of those should have been on enterprise-grade software
• 3 years of experience as QA lead
• Experience working based on agile methodologies. Good understanding of the concept of shift-left testing and practical application of the same
• Proficiency in the Microsoft .net stack. Expertise in C#, Selenium, API testing, integration testing
• Good understanding of SOA and ability to create effective test strategies for applications built on REST, JSON, XML, and SOAP
• Good object-oriented analysis and design capability (OOAD)
• Basic understanding of prominent design patterns and the ability to design solutions by composing the most suitable design patterns for the job
• Expertise in QA for non-functional requirements like performance, security, traceability, etc
• Proficient at database development using Microsoft SQL
• Proficient at QA patterns practices for continuous integration (CI)
• Efficient communication using English, good networking skills, proven ability to influence and drive change initiatives
• Proven experience in operating within a global environment
• A good understanding of the payment domain would be an added advantage

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree - Software Engineering, Information Systems or other Technical degree; additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  
• Typically Minimum 8 Years Relevant Exp - Professional experience with Software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
