Professional Skills Hands-on experience of Big Data tools and technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Flume, Sqoop, Kafka, etc.) Hands-on experience on Java/Scala Working knowledge of MongoDB, MySql, Elasticsearch Working knowledge of data integration solution and building data pipelines Experience in implementing solutions to transform really big data [multi million records/ TBs of data] and data driven applications Working knowledge of Linux/Unix distributions, VCS/SVN/Git, Jenkins, documentation and UML/flowcharts tool Good to have knowledge of Data integration, Data modeling, Data lake, Data warehouse, Data Marts Distributed computing and Cloud computing, Parallel data processing Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals from data structures and algorithms Proactive problems identification, rapid trouble-shooting, Strong problem solving and logical reasoning ability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for bright, experienced Software Engineers to be a part of a talented team of technology professionals Incumbents will be responsible for developing complex real-world big data applications in a dynamic environment Responsible for coding, documenting and maintaining applications in fast paced environment A good understanding of Core Java is indispensable for this role An ability to understand usability issues, suggest possible improvements Involvement in implementing highly scalable algorithms and solutions
