Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Patrolling the Premises:

Conduct regular patrols around the property (interior and exterior) to monitor for signs of unauthorized activity, theft, vandalism, or fire hazards.

Ensure all doors, gates, and other points of entry are secure.

Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems.

Access Control:

Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed into restricted areas.

Check identification of employees, contractors, and visitors.

Maintain records of visitors and deliveries entering the premises.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to security breaches, emergencies, and alarms.

Assist in evacuations during emergencies such as fire alarms, natural disasters, or medical emergencies.

Report incidents or violations to the authorities as necessary.

Incident Reporting:

Complete daily logs and reports on security activities, incidents, or breaches.

Document any suspicious activities, accidents, or security concerns and escalate to senior security staff or management.

Report any damages to property or equipment promptly.

Customer Service:

Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and offering directions in a professional and courteous manner.

Help ensure a calm and controlled environment, particularly during emergencies or stressful situations.

Maintain Surveillance Equipment:

Operate and maintain security surveillance systems such as CCTV, intercoms, and alarm systems.

Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any technical issues to the relevant personnel.

Preventative Measures:

Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Conduct security checks on valuables or sensitive areas such as vaults, storage rooms, or high-security zones.

Prevent and deter criminal activities by maintaining a visible security presence.

Cooperate with Local Authorities:

In the case of a serious security breach or criminal activity, coordinate with local police and other law enforcement agencies to ensure a swift resolution.

Assist law enforcement with investigations when necessary.
