Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and alert Security Guard to protect our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate should maintain a high level of vigilance, enforce safety protocols, and ensure that the premises remain secure at all times. You will be responsible for monitoring entrances and exits, conducting regular patrols, reporting suspicious activity, and responding quickly in emergencies.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a secure environment.
- Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches immediately.
- Operate security systems, such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
- Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies consistently.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first-level assistance.
- Maintain daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Assist with crowd control during events or emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control

Monitor and control access to the premises for staff, visitors, and vehicles.

Maintain a visitor logbook with proper entries of in/out timings and ID verification.

Issue visitor passes and escort them if required.
Surveillance & Patrolling

Conduct regular foot patrols of the property to ensure security and detect irregularities (fire hazards, unlocked doors, suspicious objects, etc.).

Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, and security systems.

Prevent unauthorized entry or activity.
Emergency Response

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or unusual activities.

Coordinate with emergency services (fire, police, ambulance) when needed.

Assist in evacuations and ensure crowd control during critical situations.
Property & Asset Protection

Ensure all company property, stock, and equipment are protected.

Prevent theft, vandalism, or damage to the premises or its occupants.

Guard sensitive areas like server rooms, warehouses, or entry points.
Reporting & Documentation

Record daily activities, observations, and incidents in the security logbook.

Submit incident reports to the supervisor for any suspicious activity or security breach.

Assist in preparing reports for audits or security reviews.
