Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Patrolling and Surveillance:

Perform regular patrols of assigned areas to check for irregularities, security breaches, or unsafe conditions.

Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity or unauthorized behavior.

Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.

Access Control:

Monitor and control entry and exit points of buildings and premises.

Check identification and log visitors or vehicles entering or leaving the premises.

Prevent unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas.

Incident Response and Reporting:

Respond quickly to alarms, disturbances, or reported incidents.

Take appropriate action in the event of emergencies such as fire, accidents, theft, or unauthorized entry.

Call emergency services when necessary and assist as needed until help arrives.

Complete accurate, detailed reports of daily activities, observations, and any incidents.

Safety Enforcement:
-
Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies related to security, safety, and conduct.

Help maintain crowd control during events, emergencies, or busy operational periods.

Report and help resolve safety hazards or maintenance issues (e.g., broken locks, blocked exits).

Customer Service:

Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Offer directions or respond to basic questions while maintaining a security presence.

De-escalate confrontations or disturbances using communication and conflict resolution skills.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

Maintain a logbook of patrols, visitor entries, incidents, and equipment checks.

Ensure all reports are completed accurately, thoroughly, and submitted in a timely manner.

Document any lost-and-found items and follow company procedures for handling them.

Emergency Preparedness:

Be familiar with emergency procedures, evacuation plans, and response protocols.
-
Participate in drills or training related to fire safety, active threats, or medical emergencies.

Act as a first responder until official emergency personnel arrive.
