Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Surveillance and Monitoring:

Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.

Regularly patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to maintain visibility and deter potential threats.

Monitor and report any unusual behavior, safety hazards, or malfunctioning equipment.

Keep detailed logs of security incidents, daily activities, and unusual occurrences.
2. Access Control and Visitor Management:

Check identification and authorize entry of employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.

Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes as required.

Enforce building access policies and restrict unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

Conduct bag checks or security screenings where necessary.
3. Emergency Response and Incident Management:
-
Act promptly in emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, theft, vandalism, or accidents.
-
Contact emergency services (fire department, police, paramedics) when needed and provide detailed reports.
-
Evacuate premises during emergencies according to company protocols and safety procedures.

Provide first aid assistance if certified and necessary.
4. Rule Enforcement and Conflict Resolution:
-
Ensure adherence to rules, regulations, and company policies by staff and visitors.

Resolve minor disputes and de-escalate confrontations in a professional manner.

Escort individuals from premises if they violate rules or pose a safety risk.

Notify management or law enforcement of criminal behavior or serious incidents.
5. Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare accurate and timely incident and shift reports.

Document all safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damage to property.

Maintain clear communication with the security supervisor and other departments as needed.

Attend daily briefings or meetings to stay updated on any changes or alerts.
