Job Overview
A Security Guard is responsible for protecting property, residents, employees, and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role includes monitoring surveillance, patrolling premises, managing entry points, and responding to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Security & Surveillance
- Monitor and authorize entry and exit of visitors, employees, and vehicles.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
- Operate CCTV cameras and other security equipment for surveillance.
- Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches immediately.
2. Emergency Response & Incident Handling
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
- Assist in fire drills, medical emergencies, and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain a log of security incidents and report them to management.
3. Property Protection & Customer Assistance
- Protect residential apartments, offices, retail stores, or company premises from theft, vandalism, and trespassing.
- Guide and assist visitors, employees, and residents when needed.
- Ensure that rules and safety protocols are followed by all.
