Security Officer recruitment in IIT Jammu
Pay Scale : Rs. 50,000-75000/- per month (Consolidated)
Security Officer recruitment in IIT Jammu
Department : Security Unit
Essential: (i) Retired Commissioned Officer of Army / Navy / Air Force of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and equivalent having a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University/Institute with minimum of 03 years’ relevant experience as Security officer. He should be able to manage a team of about 100 security guards. (ii) He should also be competent to handle firefighting systems fitted on campus and monitor CCTV surveillance system. (iii) Should be of sound health and able to ride motor cycle/ car and handle firearms. (iv) Should be conversant with security rules and procedures to deal with Police and the Public. (v) Proficiency in the use of computer and office applications, M.S Word, Excel and Power-point and should have good communication skills (oral and written).
Desirable: (i) Training, conducting enquires & investigation, managing contacts and handling emergency situation like Fire Fighting, Rescue Operations, Floods, Earthquake etc. (ii) Possessing a Diploma certificate in Security operations / Fire safety and disaster management from a recognized University /Institute.
