Job Description
An MNC is looking to hire Analysts for its Security Operations Centre (SOC), working in a 24X7environment, in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
The Analysts will be required to work from a SOC in shifts, analyze alerts from a mass notification tool, log events on a spread sheet/ on SharePoint, and be on call to clarify any issues to clients.
The role’s primary function will be supportive; helping to monitor news feeds and draft foundational crisis management elements such as security alerts, event logs, metrics, dashboards, and supporting the development of training materials.
A significant portion of the day-to-day will be spent monitoring alert feeds and analyzing them for impact on client assets.
The ideal candidate should be well versed in working in an SOA environment with a good command of spoken and written English.
Prerequisites:
1. Exposure to incident response/crisis management.
2. Intelligence experience required, namely in processing vendor-provided intel and developing outlooks specific to the organisation.
3. Excellent at digesting breaking news and producing concise, strategically focused alerts.
4. Able to generate meaningful reporting metrics, comfortable in data analysis.
5. Problem-solving mindset, agile thinking, humble, especially under pressure.
6. Knowledge of mass notification tools.
7. Excellent geographic awareness.
