Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with solid professional experience in Statutory Audits, Income Tax, TDS, GST Compliance, and Income Tax Assessments, Litigation, and Appeals. The ideal candidate should have completed their articleship and must be eligible to appear for the CA Final examination not before May 2026.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of industries, legal matters, and financial reporting tasks, and is ideal for someone looking to strengthen their practical knowledge while working toward their final CA qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Statutory & Tax Audits:

Independently handle and assist in conducting Statutory Audits of companies and firms across sectors.

Verify books of accounts, ledgers, and financial statements for compliance with applicable accounting standards and legal requirements.

Prepare audit working papers and draft audit reports.
Direct Tax (Income Tax & TDS):

Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and corporate clients.

Handle TDS compliance including calculation, payment, return filing, and reconciliation.

Assist in the preparation and representation of clients in Income Tax Assessments and Litigation Matters.

Draft responses to tax notices, assessment orders, rectifications, and appeals.
Indirect Tax (GST):

Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.).

Reconcile GST data with books of accounts.

Handle GST audits and inquiries, and assist in representing clients before authorities.

Advise clients on GST implications for various business transactions.
Compliance & Documentation:

Maintain updated documentation for all audits, assessments, and filings.

Prepare necessary reports, financial schedules, and reconciliations.

Ensure timely compliance with all statutory deadlines.
Client Coordination & Advisory:

Communicate effectively with clients regarding audit findings, tax matters, and compliance requirements.

Provide basic tax and accounting advisory to clients under the supervision of a senior CA.

Assist in drafting submissions, appeal memos, and consultation notes.
