Senior Accountant
Job Description
-
Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers.

Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).

Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
-
Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors.
-
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Assist in tax planning and filing returns on time.

Supervise and guide junior accountants or accounting staff.
Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.

Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-
Leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
