Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-7 years of strong native android application development experience with Java/Kotlin
• In-depth understanding of the android components: Activities, Fragments, Services
• Hands-on with Jetpack Architecture Components: LiveData, WorkManager, View Binding, and Lifecycle Aware Components
• Experience with Room persistence library
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience in MVVM, Live Data, Room DB

Good To Have Skills/Exposure

• BLE interfacing on Android
• React JS for web front-end development
• AWS Services like IoT Core, Cognito, IAM, Lambdas
• Node JS scripts for AWS-Lambdas
