Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of strong native android application development experience with Java/Kotlin
- In-depth understanding of the android components: Activities, Fragments, Services
- Hands-on with Jetpack Architecture Components: LiveData, WorkManager, View Binding, and Lifecycle Aware Components
- Experience with Room persistence library
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Experience in MVVM, Live Data, Room DB
Good To Have Skills/Exposure
- BLE interfacing on Android
- React JS for web front-end development
- AWS Services like IoT Core, Cognito, IAM, Lambdas
- Node JS scripts for AWS-Lambdas
