About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Architect with a strong background in designing and executing commercial projects such as office buildings, retail spaces, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset, strong technical knowledge, and a proven ability to lead architectural design and coordination through all project phases from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of commercial architecture projects from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Oversee preparation of architectural drawings, construction documentation, BOQs, and material specifications.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and team deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Drive sustainable design practices and integrate green building principles (e.g., LEED standards).
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams for integrated project delivery.
- Participate in client presentations and design reviews.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- 3-5+ years of experience with a strong portfolio in commercial architecture.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, 3ds Max, Lumion, or similar tools.
- Experience in BIM workflows and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Strong understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent design, visualization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices (LEED Accreditation is a plus).
- Ability to lead project teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local regulations, development control rules, and bye-laws.
