As an associate in our practice, you will be working in an exciting work environment, handling challenging, time-sensitive deals that demand a cool head and positive mindset.

Your responsibilities as a senior associate will include direct communication with the client and managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Strategizing Venture Capital investments.

• Advising on corporate and commercial issues relating to VC transactions.

• Drafting of complex commercial agreements and transaction documents including term sheets, share purchase agreements, share subscription agreements and shareholder agreements etc.

• Strong ability to demonstrate negotiation and advocacy skills and hands-on experience in negotiations on commercial/ legal clauses

• Conducting legal due diligence and monitoring the progress of the transaction

• Investment compliances and investment closing activities and various other nuances on the structuring of investments rounds in early-stage businesses

• Drafting of third-party agreements  

• Understanding of tax laws

• Research and presentation of various corporate laws

Required Candidate profile

• LLB/LLM degree from a recognized university

• Minimum 3  years PQE in handling legal documentation & advisory pertaining to venture capital deals. 

• Fully conversant with Industry needs and standard practices
