Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Design Coordination

Review and validate engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project plans.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants during the planning and design phases.

Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and tender documents.

Provide value engineering input to optimize project design and cost-efficiency.
2. Site Execution & Supervision
-
Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure proper execution as per design and specification.
-
Supervise subcontractors, site engineers, and construction workers.
-
Ensure work progress adheres to the project schedule and meets quality benchmarks.

Resolve technical issues encountered on-site and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
3. Quality Control & Safety Compliance
-
Monitor and enforce quality control standards at every stage of construction.

Conduct site inspections and approve construction materials and workmanship.

Ensure implementation of safety protocols, site discipline, and adherence to local building codes.

Coordinate with QA/QC and safety teams for audits, checklists, and compliance documentation.
4. Project Monitoring & Reporting

Track project progress against timeline, budget, and resources using tools like MS Project or Primavera.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for stakeholders and management.

Identify project risks or delays early and propose corrective actions.

Support the procurement team by forecasting material and resource requirements.
5. Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead a team of junior engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

Conduct training, mentoring, and performance evaluations for junior staff.

Facilitate coordination among cross-functional teams such as design, procurement, and site execution.
-
Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and government authorities as required.
