As a Lead Software Designer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Build a strong understanding of the business and current set of challenges, and then come up with a design align technology strategy with business outcomes
- Ensure that we are implementing solutions with stateoftheart technology
- Owning complete design and delivery of technical enhancements
- Prioritising and Providing estimates for deliveries
- Working closely with team for quality development: Reducing code complexity, Writing functional and integration tests, Testing automation, Code reviews
- Mentoring the existing team
- Representing design in different forums if required
- Continuous learning
- The Skills youll need
- In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills experience:
- Bachelor in technology
- Good Knowledge of Webservices, REST, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
- Sound understanding of coding best practices Design Patterns
- Understanding of SOLID principles and Dependency Injection
- Troubleshooting/Debugging
- Experience of CI/CD tools like Team City
- Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skills)
- Experience with Spring Batch, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Knowledge of Cloud computing architecture and applications migration to it.
- Angular JS or any UI framework
- Agile Methodology
